![]() I have the original non-Enhanced Edition of The Witcher and this problem does not occur with it. Sometimes the same pre-rendered cutscene will work perfectly, sometimes only play half the audio, sometimes nothing at all, and sometimes there is no music and only voice audio during the pre-rendered cutscene.I have tried both on-board sound/audio and the video card’s sound/audio and the problem is the same. All in-game menus and normal gameplay have perfect sound, music, and audio. Examples, ‘Atari logo video when the game starts’, ‘fight with the striga prologue’, and ‘end game pre-rendered cutscene.’ All in-game cutscenes that use the game’s own graphics engine have perfect sound, music, and audio. If and when there is sound or audio during pre-rendered cutscenes, it is choppy and only lasts a couple of seconds or comes in snippets of sound. Problem: No sound or audio during pre-rendered cutscenes. This problem only occurs when the Enhanced Edition is installed.I have tried setting the graphics to 800圆00 instead of 1920x1200 and the results were the same.System/Software Specs:The Witcher: Enhanced Edition v1.5OS: Windows XP SP3 Home Edition 32-bitPC Type: Personally BuiltMobo: ASUSCPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0GHzRAM: 3GBPage File: 4GBDirectX: v9.0cVideo Card: ATI Radeon HD 4670, 1GB, APG, (1920x1200, 32bit, 60Hz)Sound, On Board ASUS: Realtek AC97 Audio Video Card Audio: ATI HD Rear Audio Output (via HDMI cable to VIZIO LCD then standard audio cable to surround sound system)Sound System: Durabrand Digital Home Theater SystemCodec Pack: CCCP Hardware Drivers: All fully updated.Space Left on Install HDD: 30GB+Environmental Effects: OnEAX Sound: grayed out ![]() No sound or audio during pre-rendered cutscenes with Enhance Edition 1.5
